Selected commercial flooring projects
Two-tone terrazzo at NorthPark Center
Craftsman installed a two-tone terrazzo floor for Scanlan Theodore at NorthPark Center in Dallas. A brass divider separates the colors, and the poured floor was ground and polished to the selected finish. See this installation on our Dallas terrazzo flooring page.
34,000 square feet of ESD flooring in an operating facility
For an electronics QA and assembly facility in Dallas–Fort Worth, Craftsman installed 34,000 square feet of static-control epoxy flooring. We phased the installation through occupied production space and performed resistance testing in the ESD-controlled areas.
Flooring systems we install
Polished concrete
Polished concrete turns the existing slab into the finished floor. Craftsman grinds, densifies and polishes the concrete to the selected aggregate exposure and sheen. The slab’s condition and construction affect the finished appearance.
See our Dallas polished concrete installation services or our polished concrete installation guide.
Terrazzo
Craftsman installs poured epoxy, cementitious and precast terrazzo for commercial and institutional buildings. We also fabricate precast terrazzo in-house, including stairs, treads, countertops, wall panels and cove base. These pieces can be coordinated with the poured floor.
Epoxy floor coatings
Our commercial epoxy installations include thin-film and multilayer systems with polyurethane topcoats. We select the assembly around traffic, chemical exposure, texture requirements and the condition of the concrete.
ESD and static-control flooring
Craftsman installs conductive and static dissipative ESD epoxy flooring. We coordinate the flooring specification, installation and required testing with the project team.
Urethane cement
We install urethane cement flooring for food and beverage processing and other wet-processing environments. System selection accounts for the facility’s operating temperatures, cleaning procedures and chemical exposure.
Concrete overlays
When the existing slab cannot produce the intended polished appearance, a cementitious overlay provides a new finishing surface. Craftsman installs concrete overlays in Dallas over structurally sound concrete.
Sealed concrete
Craftsman also installs sealed concrete floors where a sealed finish suits the project’s use and appearance requirements.
Installation in occupied facilities
Flooring work often has to fit around production, staff access and other trades. Craftsman evaluates whether the installation can be divided into phases, which areas must close and which routes must remain available.
We schedule preparation, installation, curing, required testing and cleanup before returning each area to service.
At completion, we provide the flooring closeout documentation required by the project. For vendor qualification documents, contact procurement@craftsmanconcretefloors.com.
Request project pricing
Send the facility address, approximate square footage, current floor condition and intended use. Include drawings or a flooring specification if available, along with the project stage and target schedule.
You do not need to choose a flooring system before contacting us. We can review the requirements and recommend an appropriate installation.
Planning floors for your home?
